Just a week after Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao unveiled China's first Moon photo, a sleuthing spaceblogger has discovered Mr Wen may have been hiding something. And apparently all they needed to realise that dream was a copy of Photoshop.

Last year, a YouTuber uploaded the world's most entertaining keep-fit video, in which a George Costanza-lookalike with knickers on his head robbed a terrified Japanese woman. Three girls then jumped around a bit, demonstrating the vocabulary you'll need to protect yourself from a geeky gaijin armed with a nail file.

It sounds like a dream plot for a bad sci-fi flick: A secret society of Chinese triads and Japanese yakuza, with 6 million members, 1.8 million gangsters and 100,000 professional assassins has teamed-up to wipe out a race of Jewish lizards from outer space, hell-bent on decimating Asia with racially-targeted biological weapons.

There must be a million sights in the world to bring joy to the life of the most humble among us. The sun glinting from a fresh carpet of snow; palm trees at sunrise on an empty beach; a baby's smile of recognition; loved ones greeting you at the airport. But despite the wonder of all these moments, one phenomena is more wondrous of all; and that's the sight of two girls snogging.

Are you persecuted for your beliefs? Hounded as a pariah and demonsised for your lifestyle? In recent years, a hysteria has taken over many developed societies, as they've turned their fears, released their personal demons, against an innocent minority group.

Anything that cuts Manila's exhaust fumes must be a good thing. But the idea of a Green Jeepney makes about as much sense as an 'honest crook' or a 'friendly fight'. As long as drivers stop and start at will, traffic will always be a nightmare and the pollution a fact of life.

Couldn't be arsed to watch Dubya's state of the union address? Have no fear: A vegetarian, baby-eating student named Chirag Mehta has analysed the content to produce a list of the most important bits . And he doesn't stop there. He's used a tag cloud to calculate the most common words in 365 presidential speaches, letters and documents since independence, learning that every single US president in history uses the word 'war'. So how come the they always insist the state of the union is strong?

A "heads up" for those of you who may be regular Festival Walk customers. Over the last month I became a victim of a clever scam while out shopping. Simply going out to get supplies has turned out to be quite a traumatic experience. Don't be naive enough to think "It couldn't happen to you!"
